About a 10-15 minute drive from Had Sai Noi Beach, the Pranburi Fishing Village is a lovely get away from the ins and outs of the typical beach town. A top recommended activity at Pranburi Forest Park, the boat tour of the Pranburi Fishing Village begins with a surreal 5-minute walk through the Mangrove Nature Trail. Before the mangrove makes a full circle, there will be a dock where you can board a speedboat for a 40-minute tour of the fishing village on the Pranburi River and its junction with the ocean. During the tour, you will be also be able to see a variety of wildlife including the largest lizards in Hua Hin: the water monitors. We recommend taking the tour later in the day when the sun is lower in the sky and there are fewer tourists, but take note that the last tour leaves around 5pm so that tour guides can return home before the sun goes down. The cost of the tour is quite reasonable but also variable, so we recommend taking a few hundred baht for each member of your party as the cost of the boat ride will fluctuate depending on how many people you take.
